Vibrational & Crystal Medicine Journey
Each sound journey session is individualized especially for you. During a private session, you are fully clothed and lying on your back on the floor on top of a cushioned futon. Your head and legs are supported by pillows, and a blanket is available for your comfort in addition to a warmed eye pillow. A group session is prepared in a similar fashion. Therapeutic grade essential oils are used along with crystals, himalayan singing bowls, a handmade frame drum, ocean drum, 8 frosted quartz crystal singing bowls, tingshas, clear quartz crystal wand bowl, solfeggio tuning forks, an OM tuner, 24” wind gong, and other instruments.
Sound created by instruments such as the himalayan singing bowls and therapeutic grade essential oils stimulate all brain regions that are considered the core of emotional processing. The sense of smell is described differently from the other four senses as it is the only one that is directly linked to the limbic lobe of the brain and the amygdala, the emotional control center. Emotions such as anxiety, depression, fear, anger, joy and happiness all emanate from this region. The singing bowls are placed on and around your body and played gently to assist your body back to harmony, in a loving and gentle way. This allows the sound vibrations to be transmitted directly to the body's cells, circulatory system, organs and tissues as our bodies are 80% water which easily resonate with healing sounds. In addition, you can add Holy Fire Reiki and iRest® (Integrative Restoration) meditation to the session.
Group or private sessions available. Contact me if you are interested in gathering a group of people together in your space to experience a group Ancient Echo Journey session.
Vibrational Medicine - Sound therapy
Vibrational medicine is true body-mind-spirit therapy. The word vibration, or frequency, refers to the pulsations of energy that make up and pattern all life and matter. Albert Einstein's famous equation E = mc2 states that energy is equivalent to matter with its vibratory rate greatly speeded up. The energy fields that make up all living things are interactive. The ability of an energy field to influence the vibratory rate of another is called resonance. Vibrational medicine is based on energy resonance. Energy can be applied in the form of electrical microcurrents, light, magnetism, sound, energetic remedies and human touch (or some combination).
Examples of vibrational medical techniques are acupuncture, homeopathy, gem and flower essences, color light therapy, healing sound therapies - Solfeggio tuning forks, himalayan singing bowls - Reiki and hands-on healing.
Holding crystals or placing them on your body is thought to promote physical, emotional and spiritual balance. Crystals supposedly do this by positively interacting with your body's energy field. While some crystals are said to alleviate stress, others purportedly improve concentration or creativity. Various crystals are placed on or around you to induce deep relaxation, release stress and pain, and promote energy balance within the physical and subtle bodies. Crystals are placed on sites of pain, on meridians, or on subtle energy vortexes called chakras.
Why would the specific placement of crystals have any effect on the well-being of our bodies? It is said that there is no such thing as a miracle, just undiscovered laws of physics. Crystals have the ability to hold and emit energy vibrations. When a crystal is put in a watch the battery sends a constant charge through the crystal. The crystal absorbs the charge, and then releases it at such a precise rate it is used to make the watch keep perfect time. Crystals affect our electro-magnetic energy fields or subtle bodies which surround and permeate the physical body. These include the etheric, emotional and mental bodies, which are collectively called the aura.
Crystals absorb, focus, direct and diffuse our energy fields to enable a diseased or out of balance body to find it's natural energetic rhythm once again. The appropriate crystals can be placed on the seven main chakras, which look like different coloured spinning wheels of subtle energy, running up the centre of the torso. These link the subtle energy fields of our aura with our emotions, glands, organs, physical body parts and subtle and physical circulatory flows. This is why wearing certain crystals such as yellow citrine may uplift you, rose quartz may help to ease heartache, and amethyst may calm a busy mind and help you to sleep.
We make use of crystals to initiate a specific effect on the energy balance of chakras, meridians, energy, organs and emotions. Usually crystals with the points facing away from the problem area move the energy away from that area, and crystals placed with the points facing inwards recharge the body with subtle energies.
Color Light / Spectro-Chrome Therapy
I use color light therapy in all of my sessions. It is an effective, subtle and gentle therapy done at no extra cost for the client. I was trained at The Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education (N.I.T.E.) in Mount Pleasant, MI where they own one of the original Spectra-Chrome Therapy machines created by Dinshah P. Ghadiali. Beaming color light to large areas of the body using a lamp is called tonation. It was first introduced to the public by Dinshah P. Ghadiali in 1920. The book "Let There Be Light" by his son Darius Dinshah shows healing protocols for various physical conditions. Read more.
This is a general term for a collection of healing modalities that use positive energy to promote healing in your body, heart, mind and spirit. Holy Fire Reiki is just one of many types of energywork. Many recognize that there is electromagnetic energy flowing around and through the body in very specific currents (called meridians in China and nadis - pronounced "na-dees" - in India) and through the energy field around the body (the aura). When those currents are interrupted, they create an imbalance or blockage in the flow, and if allowed to persist for long enough periods, can create pain and even disease.
When the energetic balance and the root of the problem is fully addressed, blockages release and health returns. I believe that the body, heart, mind and spirit are connected and that each aspect of us influences the others. If there are imbalances on one level, they may appear also on another level. A physical problem in the body may lead to emotional problems and vice versa.
As an energywork practitioner, I pass on healing energy to assist in raising your frequency, and with free will, you receive the energy to use it to heal yourself. Your energy system and physical body respond to these frequencies through what is called "energetic field resonance;" it increases in vibration to match the frequencies being transmitted by me, the practitioner. Your cells have access to more energy, and this energy gives the cells the ability to expunge toxins from the body, whether physical or emotional. You then experience what is called a "release," which can come in the form of laughter, perspiration, coughing or deep relaxation. Clients usually feel full of energy, relaxed, happy and peaceful after the energywork session.
With your permission, I often combine energywork with massage sessions to balance out the treatment. Energywork has some marvelous applications, there are some amazing areas where we have seen energywork successfully handle issues like overcoming fear, speeding recovery from surgery, healing pain over lost loved ones, healing during radiation or chemo treatments, releasing intense negative emotions, and helping clients reinstate their trust. This cutting-edge modality will be used more and more in combination with more conventional medical treatments in the years ahead. One modality, Reiki, is currently used in or referred by 50 major hospitals across the U.S.
