Raindrop Technique®

The Raindrop Technique® combines the science of aromatherapy with the techniques of Vita Flex, reflexology, massage, etc, in the application of essential oils, which are applied on various areas of the body to bring structural and electrical alignment.

The Raindrop Technique helps bring balance and harmony to the body by combining targeted massage and distinctive energy approaches. It also includes pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils to create an atmosphere of spirituality and serenity. Note: An added charge of $40 for the full technique or $20 for feet only.

Cupping

Dry cupping is a form of therapeutic bodywork used to facilitate deep tissue release and aid in bringing about numerous healthful benefits to the body. Negative pressure, or suction, is used to rapidly facilitate rigid soft tissue release, loosen & lift connective tissue, break up and drain stagnation while increasing blood & lymph flow to the skin & muscles in ways not possible using compression techniques.

Simply put, the use of cups allows for a stretching and opening of the tissues in the body. This lifting creates space for fluid to move and helps drain toxins and waste from the cells; than moves that waste out of the body.

You'll usually feel a tight sensation in the area of the cup, and that often feels good. Cups are left in place for 5-20 minutes and sometimes the cups are moved around in a gliding motion. Cupping relaxes your muscles, stimulates blood flow, lymph, and Qi to the affected area and throughout your body.

One important thing to know about cupping is that although it is an effective, safe technique, you may have distinctive pink, red or purple circles or streaks on your skin where they were placed. The skin discoloration may last anywhere from a few hours or days. Generally, the area does not hurt, though occasionally they may be a little sore. I always recommend that my clients drink plenty of water and take an Epsom salts bath after a cupping treatment because the salts are anti-inflammatory and can help prevent or relieve soreness.

Bamboo-Fusion®

Bamboo Fusion® is an innovative modality that integrates the use of heat and bamboo tools in varying shapes and sizes to apply massage to the muscles body.

Warm bamboo massage is a very versatile technique that can be applied as a luxurious Swedish style spa treatment or for deep tissue massage. The gentle heat from the bamboo increases circulation and softens muscle tissue and fascial restrictions.

The tools were created to be an extension of the therapists hands and designed to easily replicate the movements and techniques they do with their hands, thumbs and forearms. Kneading, compression, rolling, Trigger Point Therapy and effleurage all combine together in this amazing hand saving modality.

Himalayan Salt Stone Benefits

In my massage sessions, I use the Himalayan salt stones. Specifically, the hand carved salt crystal stones to ground and balance the body's electromagnetic field, central nervous system and meridians. The stones are warmed to gently soothe away any accumulation of stress, tension and pollutants. The Himalayan stones provide a deep relaxation, improve sleep and reduce inflammation in addition to mild detoxification and exfoliation. With inherent 84 minerals and trace elements, Himalayan salt is a benefit to the body inside and out.

Tuning Fork Therapy

Tuning fork therapy uses vibrating tuning forks on acupuncture points and over the chakras. It works on the same premise as acupuncture to unblock stuck or stagnant energy to improve energy flow throughout the body. Tuning forks are used to stimulate the relaxation response. The theory is that these sound waves help to normalize imbalances and synchronize the chakra’s frequency back to its natural healthy state of vibrational resonance. This vibroacoustic therapy uses low frequency weighted tuning forks to increase cellular movement and to “retune” the body. Unweighted tuning forks are also used to retune the auric field and energy centers of the body.
